Hearst Museum object titled Miniature, accession number 7-3206, described as Miniature; French noblewoman seated on purple velvet. Dress is white on white stripe with narrow pink neck trim, wide pink belt, white jacket with buttons, white/white cap, long brown hair. Miniature, rectangular in rectangular cast engraved brass frame with top hanger. Attached metal identity leaf engraved “Louise of France - LeBrun.’ Vellum back shows underpad of music with French words. Signed ‘Vigée LeBrun 1790’ bottom right corner. Glass cracked in top left corner. Wall decoration. 18.2 x 13.6 cm.
