Rather flat and described by Barrett in 1906 as being "old and much worn." The basket has handle and is without decoration.

Pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Open diagonal twined with "strawberry weave" (one plain strand and one dark strand) achieving decorative banding effect. Decoration: four horizontal bands of black twining.
