: Hearst Museum object titled Bag, accession number 2-59156, described as Pipe bag: buckskin; multi-colored glass "seed" beads; porcupine quill-wrapped thongs at top in red, blue, yellow (2 with metal tinklers and blondish horsehair detached); red, black, white "pony" beads sewn on bottom with twisted buckskin fringes. "Pipe bag: pony beads probably "recycled", unlikely specimen is extremely old. (fide, 1976, Lawrence E. Dawson)
