Cattle horn splinters form the four horns and palm leaf strips the form the side brims. The cross between the back horns means that the marriage is not the first ones. The front horns and the top peak represent the bull. The back horns and shape represent the cow. Headdresses, bodies and clothing are all smeared with fat and red ochre.
