Hearst Museum object titled Jar, accession number 9-13406, described as Jar, porcelain, missing lid. Tall, ovoid side, with high wide shoulder, narrow base; very narrow short neck. Incised, and slip trailed underglaze decoration, glossy light-blue translucent glaze. Neck not glazed, and stained dark. Three large identical circular medallions, incised, on center of body: seal character (probably shou "longevity") surrounded by archaic cloud key-fret and dragon motif pattern. Slip trailed or incised band on shoulder of key-fret cloud pattern and archaic dragons. Wide band at base with 'mountain and cloud' pattern. Interior and recessed base glazed white. Stamped relief seal mark of Ch'ien Lung reign (1736-1795). Height 35.5 cm., maximum diameter 20.5 cm.
