Interior rose, two peaches at center.  Exterior has peaches and floral and foliage sprays on pale green.  Dark blue scroll design at top; key-fret design on base.  Badly damaged:  four large chips on exterior which extend inside enamel.  Interior has 10cm crack and chip at top, many cracks, chips and water damage. Cups have low waist; fairly straight expanding sides and flared out rim. Interior plain, exterior decorated w/ motif common to all pcs.: polychrome enamel floral scrollwork on dark blue ground. Four reserve medallions containing a different character each (longevity, etc.) in gold. Band around rim containing red, blue, yellow key-fret pattern on turquoise ground. Lids (c&d) are flat-bowl shaped w/narrow cylinder finial, w/ same design on upper side. Saucers (e&f) are bowl-shaped w/ slight lobes in rim and deep depressed centers (pedestal) for foot of bowls. Design on upper side. Gilt on rim of all pcs. (a-d) have coral-red reign mark of Kuang hsu (1875-1908). Chips in rim of (a&b). H. (a&b): 6.3cm. Dia. 10.1; H. (c&d) 1.2cm. Dia, 9.3 H. (e&f) 3.4cm. D. 40.5 cm Arthur & Grace Chu, Oriental Cloisonne and other Enamels, Crown, N.Y. 1975 Platter, metal with painted enamel decoration; large, round, shallow, flat bottomed, raised rim with scalloped edge forming eight indented lobes; stands on six small round-knob feet.  Watershore garden scene on upper side with two men and one boy standing under pine, another man on footbridge; blossoming trees, grass, mountains and water in background.  Scene surrounded by loose floral scrollwork with blossoms and fruit.  Broad rim has four branch and flower designs.  Underside has four fruit and flower motifs on white ground; Floral scrollwork in reserve white on blue.  Gourd and peony design center.  Brass on rim-edge.  Upperside of rim badly damaged and mended.  Dia. 45.6cm; H. 4.1cm Copper, with painted enamel, brass rim and feet. White enamel on copper.  Inside plain white, outside bowl has floral pattern on gold ground.  Blue scrolls on white ground cover outer handle.  Bottom white with blue flower.  Handle chipped, bottom cracked. January 1969 condition good. Spoon, Canton enamel with phoenix head terminal.  Painted on exterior with multi-color floral and foliage design on yellow ground; neck has a diaper pattern in blue on white.  Blue flower on white on base.  Interior plain white.  Handle chipped, bottom has cracks on exterior and interior.  L. 10.2 cm. W 4.5 cm China, Canton attributed. Painted enamel on metal (copper); brass rim and molded handle head.
