: Hearst Museum object titled Bag, museum number 2-1555, described as Fishskin bag; oval, pouch construction with vertical side-panels sewn to rounded bottom. Constructed entirely of salmon skin except decorative bands and scallops of scraped gut and hide, with white caribou hair sewn in. Sewn in with sinew in overcast and running stitch.

Instep and ankle of caribou, remainder of uppers either dog or wolf fur. Boot top with heavy leather ties and blue felt decoration. Sewn with cotton thread.
