Image Missing: Hearst Museum object titled Figures, accession number 3-31446, described as CERAMIC MUSICAL GROUP ON BASE: Ceramic scene of a 6-piece band all wearing yellow shires, black pants w/ gold hash marks down both legs and each has long black hair. 3 play guitars (blue, pink, & orange), one holds a fish-like object. One plays a keyboard, and the 6th figure plays drums. The base drum is inscribe with “Conjunto los Escorpiones”. 2 amplifiers sit at each side of the grouping. A microphone (black w/ gold spots and the letters “TGV) stands at center of the grouping. All figures are mounted on an oval base which is painted green. Tied around the piece is what appears to a head band, black embellished with green glitter “X” and 4 blue glitter dots on each side, and the word “ESCORPION” in silver and red glitter at front. Black ribbon ties are attached at each end and the entire band is tied around the back of the piece. Written in blue ink of base is: “Tonala, Mercado, ‘75” H=11.8cm W=16.0cm L=12.3cm JP-790
