Hearst Museum object titled Sling, accession number 16-20594, described as woven wool sling; tan, brown and red llama or alpaca wool. cords tan and brown woven on a diamond pattern; sling cup brown and tan woven in triangular points with slit at center. red and cream warp threads from cup woven directly into cords. one end of cord unfinished; the other woven with a loop 11cm from the end then finished with a tassel.
Hearst Museum object titled Sling, accession number 16-20593, described as woven sling of llama of alpaca wool (brown and black) yarn, decorated with small, multicolored (yellow, brown, blue, red, green, pink) pom-poms along length of cords and at either side of woven cup. cup woven directly into cords using white warp threads, cords end with a pom-pom at one end and a small loop at the other.
