Hearst Museum object titled Textile, accession number 18-1737, described as embroidered panel; couched embroidered panel; velvet (black & purple) with outer band of black, inner band of purple and central square of black. all are embroidered with gold couched embroidery into which small glass triangles backed with paper (?) in lavender or pale grey are inset. center has a round, stylized floral motif with a 7cm glass disk backed with decorated paper. verso - lined with scrap fabrics.
Hearst Museum object titled Textile, accession number 18-1738, described as embroidered panel; couched, embroidered panel; cotton fabrics of black and red. 1 outer border is black, central square is red, overall couched gold embroidery is inset with small pieces of triangular glass backed with self fabric or paper (grey?). central square has floral motif with 7.3cm round mirror backed with patterned paper. Lined with orange fabric.
