Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number TB-90, described as Per Ralph Shanks:  Diagonally twined wall pocket /matchbox holder.  Willow warps, background wefts are willow.  Designs are black bracken fern root and red/ orange unpeeled willow.  Reinforcing rod at rim.  Red triangles in a horizontal band and black diagonal design at top. Most likely Washo based on rim.

Light with dark pattern with two bands of birds, possibly roadrunner. Per Ralph Shanks:  Pima or Tohono O'odham.  Foundation may be cattail.  Weft is yucca leaf.  Black is devil's claw pod.  Rim is plain wrapped. Probably made for sale around the 1950's.  Remnants of material on sides suggests that the basket may have had a handle at one point.

Band is open at one point. Straw colored star at base. 3-rod foundation of whole peeled shoots; sewing strands mainly split peeled shoots; 1-strand herringbone rim binding.

Light background with single dark row at edge of base, repeated dark stepped pattern up sides with dark diagonal stitching over rim. Per Ralph Shanks:  Black is devil's claw pod, light background is willow.  Foundation possibly is Nolina.  Probably made for sale around the 1940’s.
