Attributed by donor to Amuzgo Indians of Oaxaca but really comes from Guerrero. See Cordry, Mexican Indian Costumes p. 317 for Guerrero and 318 for Oaxaca and 1st/2nd paragraphs on p. 317. Information supplied by Alejandro de Avila Blomberg in 1984 and verified by B. Busch in 1991. Skirts are not commonly worn--this one is very acculturated.
