Per Ralph Shanks: Small low basket bowl, shaped like a miniature winnowing basket. Foundation of deergrass bundle. The wefts includes sumac, tan juncus, and orange juncus throughout the basket. The design is a six pointed star at the base followed by a zigzag and then inverted triangles below the rim. Workface is on the interior of the basket. Rightward work direction, with bound under weft fag ends. The rim is plain wrapped with a slightly tapered coil ending.
