Hearst Museum object titled Pitcher, accession number 8-1880, described as Bucchero pitcher, strap ear, black. Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 18.7 cm; diameter: 12 cm (see Matteucig's plate XX, 18). Light bucchero. Round mouth with slightly curved spout; two small flat protuberances on each side of strap handle; fillet at base of neck; squat ovoid body on low flat foot. Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 30.5 cm; diameter: 17.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XX, 9). Heavy bucchero. Shape similar tonos. 1875 and 1876. On rotelle, an incised rosette with central disk in relief; on strap handle, a supine naked man; on middle of neck, two relief bands; fillet at base; on shoulder, godroons; below godroons, two re lief bands; under bands, an incised zigzag; on body five animals, (lions?) walking right, divided by a floral motive (lotus and palmettes) in relief; incised details; below ani mal zone, an incised zigzag band between two incised parallels. About two-thirds of the mouth and neck missing; on body, fillings in gray cement.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height; 19.5 cm; height, to top of handle: 23.5 cm; diameter; 13.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVII, 11). Light bucchero. Round mouth with flaring lip; undulated beak; fillet at base ofneck; ovoid body on low solid foot; two reeded handles with rotelle. On shoulder, five incised lines, nine on the middle, five below. Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 26.5 cm; diameter: 17 cm (see Matteucig's plate XIV, 2). Light bucchero. Oinochoe with high round neck, flaring lip, ovoid body, strap handle, and low solid foot. On shoulder, nine very fine incised lines; eight lines on the middle; six above foot.
