A mountain-top pagoda references Yan’an and a rising red sun suggests a new China under new leadership. Inscription: “Never benefit yourself, always benefit others” (毫不利己专门利人 hao bu li ji zhuan men li ren). Kiln mark: “Zi River porcelain factory, Hunan 1970” (湖南資江瓷厂1970 Hunan Zijiang cichang 1970) A character “洞dong” on the interior. Place of Origin: Hunan Province Condition: Good, some signs of wear. Acquisition Data: Beijing, probably Panjiayuan. 2001-2005

One portrays a tractor in the middle of a field with light radiating from the horizon. It is framed by wheat garlands on two sides and characters on the top reading “People’s Communes are good” (人民公社好renmin gongshe hao). The other decal pattern portrays green pine branches encircled by a double green ring. Black characters across the branches proclaim: “Happiness for ten-thousand springs” (幸福万年春xingfu wan nian chun). Inscription: Kiln mark: “New Citizen porcelain factory, Liling 1969” (醴陵新民瓷厂 Liling Xinmin cichang, 1969). Interior has a character (井jing). Each character is framed by a purple ring, surrounded by three sunflowers and green leaves. Almost identical to No. 88. Inscription: Kiln mark: “Zi River porcelain factory, Hunan 1969” (湖南資江瓷厂Hunan Zijiang cichang 1969). Interior has a character (玉yu). Place of Origin: Hunan Province Condition: Good.
