Hearst Museum object titled Metal bowl, accession number 9-12620, described as Incense burner (?) metal; brass bowl of globular shape on short foot, and with very short neck and turned out rim.  Four large, high relief medallions with floral motives on side of exterior, iris, pine, peony, and pomegranate (?), and hand chiseled.  Surface is tarnished and dented.  Interior is rough, has bands of green discoloration.  Discoloration of interior suggests it may have been at one time used as a flower pot.
