Hearst Museum object titled Lock, accession number 9-13375a,b, described as Padlock; crudely shaped copper alloy cast crouching dog. (A) dog (B) bolt, when in place forms dog's tail over back and through mouth to make tongue. Key missing. Scratch engraving, one side gold colored, other side reddish. 4.7 cm. long. 3.6 cm. high with lock in place.
