Hearst Museum object titled Doll, accession number 2-71751, described as Cheyenne “grandmother” doll. Leather stuffed doll w/ beaded features, painted facial marks, hair of horse-hair. Wears red “2-skin” style dress of wool. High, white leather mocassins and leggings. Dress decorated with leather knots on skirt, and bead on hem of blouse. Wears black cumerbund and bead necklace. Hair is in braids with danglers of dentalium shells [faux].
Hearst Museum object titled Ornaments, accession number 2-5220a,b, described as Ear (possibly hair) ornaments; rows of dentalium fastened together with blue glass beads between short strips of buckskin; abalone (Haliotis fulgens) pendants at ends.
