(Owner's name inscribed around rim in Gujerati). Made by L.A.P. German silver works, sold in shops dealing in Parsi ritual and ceremonial goods. Used in Parsi religious ceremonies, generally to hold milk. Although of metal, this vessel is known in Gujerati as a glass. This specimen belonged to a family who had prayers said for them at the fire temple, providing their own utensils, duly marked.
