: Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-235178, described as Coiled. Formerly fully feathered. Globular basket with stepped rectangle designs in dark material, remnants of quail topknots, stubs of red feathers. Note inside states: " Quail tops. Yellow ones are the breast of larks. The red ones Woodpecker heads. The blue ones are ducks.
