Warp is Epicampes (Sporobolus rigens) and Maple (Acer macrophyllum), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Flaring and slightly elliptical in shape, coiled. Decoration:  Black designs very similar to the "standing up" design recorded by Barrett. Dark material is brackenfern root. 3-rod coiling, with interlocking stitches.

Red pattern is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Boat-shaped; coiled.  Decoration: double bands of red horizontal zigzags arranged in a diagonal layout, in redbud. Single-rod coiling with interlocking stitches.
