A  woven cotton drawstring, stitched with white thread, also serves for handles.  The basketry bottom is woven of wide flat grass wrapped around a stiffer plant fiber frame.  It is attached to the fabric bag with stitches of white thread.  Sections of the grass have been dyed green and purple.
