Hearst Museum object titled Burden basket, accession number TB-79, described as Burden basket.  Has twisted fiber rope carrying strap.  Two tags, 2/30 or 21.30 or 2130. Other tag has "Attributed E. Mono L. Dawson 3/6/59" on reverse is "Cat No. Lost 4".  Per Ralph Shanks:  He confirms Eastern Mono (Owens Valley Paiute).  Openwork burden/gathering basket.  Slant of weft twist varies some up to right some down to right.  All willow.  Reinforcing rod halfway up interior. Warp sticks at rim bent horizontally to make reinforced rim.  There is a wire for hanging on the rim.  The bottom is missing.  This could be 1-12846.  It fits Supplementary Catalog description.
