Hearst Museum object titled Dress, accession number 5-16839, described as woman's dress, cotton with hand embroidered bands around neck and down center front to 27.0cm from hem where a decorative element composed of diamonds, triangles, checkered areas, teardrops and tendrils.  armholes are finished with the same embroidered bands.  colors are black, red, green, blue, gold, wine, lavender, yellow.  counterpoise embroidered on back is similar in diamond and drop pattern as at lower front.
