: Hearst Museum object titled Alabastron, accession number 8-6683, described as Etrusco-Corinthian black-figure alabastron; put together from a few large pieces; dull buff clay; added red paint; two confronted sphinxes, with two Geese between them; a third goose below sphinx at 1; two more geese at back; incised rosettes in field; tongues on shoulder; rosette underneath; dots on rim and handle; tongues on mouth. Height 17.6 cm; diameter 9.5 cm.
