Stock 248 cm painted red, attached with four bands. Iron ramrod, adjustable rear sight. Front sight missing. Inscription translates “1897 Year Manufactured. Virtue, Victory Gun”. Said by collector to be a “Guigall” or “three man gun”; to be of high value to the Chinese, who had otherwise old-fashioned and inferior arms during the Boxer Rebellion.
