Hearst Museum object titled Arrows, bows, quiver, accession number 1-4484, described as Foreshafted arrows (16), tipped with obsidian and glass.  Yew bows (2), sinew-backed and painted green. Quiver of Lynx rufus californicus skin.  2 arrows are without points.
Hearst Museum object titled Burden basket, accession number 1-16544, described as Burden basket; twined. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is yellow Pine. White pattern is Beargrass (Xerophyllum tenax). Red pattern is Chain fern (Adiantum pedatum) in Alder (Alnus rubra). Rim bound with grape (Vitus californica). Small, twined. Grimy from use. Hoop broken in one spot. 2-faced red and white overlay. All-over stepped design. Below rim, a white band with a geometric motif repeated. Mostly plain twining. 3-strand twining occurs from the bottom up 7 cm; also the two top rows. Hoop stitched to the top. Inside the bottom scaffolding remains the bottom 12 cm.  The packstrap is of blue denim and is tied on with buckskin thongs.
Hearst Museum object titled Burden basket, accession number 1-16542, described as Openwork basket; twined Warp is willow (Salix), weft is gray pine (Pinus sabiniana). Medium size, openwork. One side is totally collapsed; has been smashed. Partly held together by strips of cloth. Extremely fragile. Plain twined; top three rows tightly woven. Warp ends braided to form rim. A hoop is tied to rim with 2 types of cordage and lashed with buckskin thongs and what appear to be shoelaces.

Warp is possibly Poison oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum), weft is yellow pine and Grape roots (Vitus californica). Willow (Salix) rim. Small, openwork. Dirty and worn from use. One portion of rim broken off. Plain twined. 3- strand twining on bottom. 3 closely plain twined rows at top. Warp ends braided together to form rim. A hoop is lashed inside the rim with cord. Carrying strap is a piece of fabric, attached by cord loops.

Red dye is Chain fern (Woodwardia spinulosa) in alder (Alnus rubra). Bowl-shaped.  Twined, mostly plain weave.  2-faced overlay, red on white ground.  Three-strand twined from the start out for 2 cm.

Mostly plain weave. 3-strand twining for 1.5 cm radius from start; also approximately 3-3.5 cm from start.

Black dye is Maidenhair fern (Adiantum pedatum). Red color is Chain fern (Woodwardia spinulosa) dyed in Alder (Alnus rubra). Twined, globular shape.  Dusty.  All overlay except bottom.  White, alder red and black with 2-faced overlay.  Two horizontal zigzag bands of red and black stacked parallelograms dominate.  3-strand twining:  one row at basket rim, from start out about 3.5 cm radius, 2 rows at 4.5 cm from start, 2 rows at 8 cm from start.

Dirty and worn from usage. Cylindrical shape. Very flexible. White 2-faced overlay designs; two thin stripes at top; horizontal bands, two of connected triangles and two of connected diamonds; with a repeating angled motif between the 2 band areas. Mostly plain twined.  3-strand twined for approximately 9 cm radius from start, and two rows at approximately 12 cm from start.

There are also 4 areas of 3-strand twining on the bottom.
