Spray painted with a red flower, probably a peony, lush leaves and a budding branch against a full moon. Lid has a five-pointed star, delineated by red spray paint. Inscription: On both body and lid: “Mutual assistance and cooperation” (互助合作 huzhu hezuo). Kiln mark: “Liling Ceramic Painting Workers” (醴陵陶畫工人 Liling taohua gongren, last line illegible but seems to be “cooperative”合作社 hezuoshe)

The same motif is repeated on the lid. Missing its saucer. Inscription: Blue square kiln mark on foot: “Liling, China” (中國醴陵 Zhongguo Liling)
