Small bone point (barbed on one side) attached to a leather thong splitting at its ends to be connected at two places on the wooden shaft (Y-shaped harpoon line). Socket made of a heavy bone lashed with a braided sinew thread to the shaft.

Found mis-numbered in 1988 (had #2-6365 on it which belongs to a Kodiak harpoon arrow); ivory socket mortised to take the shaft's distal end; winding of braided sinew; retaining line lashed on shaft down to the lashing of the three. Yup'ik name: nagiiquyaq.
