Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 2-62006, described as Round, flat bottomed, straight sided. Coiled grass; lined with floral silk cloth; faded blue and straw-colored rectangles on sides of basket. Base damaged and breaking away. Made with a Japanese silk kimono fragment. Grass is wild rye grass leaves (Elymus mollis).

Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number TB-110, described as Per Ralph Shanks: Probably a miniature or model basket. See 2-6966, it is very similar. Basket has tag "April 1933 L.L.L" and "with Eskimo house models". Cordage basket, openwork with braided rim. Hole on one side. Horizontal twining with up to the right slant of weft twist. Warps turned down and bound by selvage at the rim.
