Hearst Museum object titled Kantharos, accession number 8-1711, described as Pale gray kantharos. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 5.8 cm; height, to top of handles: 7.5 cm; diameter: 8.7 cm (see Matteucig's plate XI, 10). Brown impasto. Clay muddy brown with black and whitish particles; light brown gritty surface. High concave neck; projecting godrooned shoulder; rounded shallow body on curved base; vertical handles, round on top, flat at point of contact with lip and shoulder.  Cf. Not. Sc., 1907, p. 339, fig. 68.
Hearst Museum object titled Kantharos, accession number 8-1683, described as Gray kantharos, leaded. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 4.5 cm; height: to top of handles, 9 cm; diameter: 11.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate IX, 11). Gray impasto. Clay pinkish gray with whitish particles; polished surface varying from light gray to light brown. Concave neck with flaring lip; narrow shoulder; shallow body with rounded sides contracting to flat bottom; high handle turned up at the top, broadening and flattening out at point of contact with lip and shoulder. Shoulder lightly grooved; evidence of laminated decoration on shoulder; inside, a laminated cross as in no. 8-1537. One handle is missing.  Cf. Hearst Museum object titled Kantharos, accession number 8-994, described as Red-figure tumbler with two handles (kantharos?); two panels, one on either side of tumbler, between handles; each panel having two divisions: upper: white laurel? design; lower: feathers. Possibly a companion to 8-993. Repaired from fragments, some still missing, some still not attached.
