Warp is Willow (Salix) and Epicampes (Sporobolus rigens), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Large and in the shape of an elliptical canoe.  Decoration consists of 5 groups of black and red horizontal lines; each group contains eleven parallel lines (or stitches).  The basket is executed in single-rod coiling with interlocking stitches.

Upper portion is single-rod coiling with interlocking stitches; lower portion is coiling on a multiple rod foundation with split stitches. Lower part of basket is designed, upper part is not.
