Hearst Museum object titled Katsina figure, accession number 2-72147, described as Big Horn (mountain) Sheek katsina (kachina); carved and painted figure. Wears a case mask with blue and black face with black snout with white "teeth". Blossom ear pieces are yellow and blue. Big horn sheep horn emerges from top surrounded by white feather and 2 standing rear feathers and a feather pompom at back. Green yarn ruff. Arms, calves, and body painted pale blue with white lightening symbols. Wear white leather kilt bordered with red and black, leather armlets with tassels, black yarn and leather knee bands with tassels and bells, silver and turquoise squash blossom necklace, Taos boots with leather fringed anklets and a white cotton twine tail.
