Hearst Museum object titled Mush basket, accession number 1-10282, described as Feasting/mush basket. Coiled. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Ceremonial basket, very large, with flaring sides. Coiled. Bands of deep red (redbud) diagonal zigzags and outlined diamond shapes. 3-rod coiling with split stitching on interior.
