Shallow slightly flaring coiled basket, used, with some residue at the bottom of the basket on the interior. It has a tight spiral start. The warp material is unidentified splints, the weft material is peeled and unpeeled redbud. Fag ends are bound under and also clipped and the moving ends are bound under and also concealed. The majority of the stitches on the back face are split, the rim is plain wrapped with a blunt coil ending with 2 diagonal back stitches with a missing third. Design is comprised of three vertical columns of paralleligrams and parallel lines of unpeeled redbud. There are also random rectangles of redbud. 4 weft rows below the rim on one side there is a 2.75 inch long strand of unpeeled redbud which the weaver attached using alternate stitches of her weft elements. The workface is exterior, work direction is to the right and weft twist is down and to the right. There are no hairs located on the basket.
