Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 9-22753a,b, described as Basketry basket (A) w/ lid (B), woven from purple and natural colored plant material. Top and bottom are decorated identically, with geometric patterns at center and diagonal stripes one each side. The to also has rawhide strip attached to the rim. Each half of the "lunch box" is woven as a round basket with a rounded base & the upper portion sits just within the rim of the lower portion.
