: Hearst Museum object titled Broom, museum number 5-16828, described as grass fiber hand broom. long grass strands sewn to form a row then coiled into a broom which is bound 3cm from the top using twine in 3 bands then sewn through from 4 sides to stabilize. finished with a grass loop at top.
