Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-97942, described as Black parallelogram design.  Tag "Klamath R. Tribes Att." Per Ralph Shanks:  Twined basket bowl. The basket has a crossed warp starting knot, slightly indented.  The warp material is possibly hazel or willow. The background weft is conifer root.  The weft overlay is beargrass and maiden hair fern.  At the starting knot there is 2 inches of three strand twining.  After that plain twining continues until the rim.  The design is a band of beargrass near the rim with three black maiden hair parallelograms.  The basket has an exterior workface with a rightward work direction. The basket has an up to the right slant of weft twist.  The overlay is only on the outside.  The rim is trimmed.  The basket is from Northwest California.
Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-97845, described as Twined, with triangle and diamond design.  Tag "Klamath R. Tribes Att.". Per Ralph Shanks:  Globular twined basket bowl "fancy basket".  Crossed warp starting knot.  Overlay primarily on the outside, with some on the interior.  The warp material is possibly willow or hazel.  The weft is conifer root.  The weft overlay design is beargrass and red- dyed woodwardia fern.  At the starting knot there is 3/4 inches of three strand twining, after that 2 inches of plain twining, after that one weft row of three strand twining, switching to plain twining until the rim, were there are two weft rows of three strand twining.  The main design is a horizontal band of triangles followed by a band of diamonds followed by another band of triangles.  Four weft rows below the rim there is are two red weft rows.  On the base there is a speckled beargrass overlay.  On the interior overlay designs there are two bands of alternating tan and red triangles.  The basket has an up to the right slant of weft twist with an exterior workface.  Based on the materials and techniques this is a Northwest California basket, possibly Whilkut based on the interior overlay designs.  There is a hair woven in the basket, located towards the top row of triangles.
