Hearst Museum object titled Infundibulum, accession number 8-1686, described as Smaller gray one than 8-1685. Description from Matteucig (1951): Pitcher; height: 5.2 cm; height: to top of handle, 7.5 cm; diameter: 6.8 cm (see Matteucig's plate IX, 14). Brown impasto. Clay and surface as in no. 8-1685; shape the same, on a smaller scale. Vase badly damaged; about one-third of neck chipped off.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Pitcher; height: 6.7 cm; height, to top of handle: 9.2 cm; diameter: 7.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate IX, 18). Brown impasto. Clay dark gray with sandy impurities; polished light brown to dark brown surface. Vase similar to nos. 8-1685, 8-1686. About one-third of neck missing; hole at the bottom.

Clay reddish with many impurities; dull brick-red to dark brown surface. Concave neck, rounded body on flat bottom; high vertical handle, round on top, flattening out at point of contact with shoulder.

Clay reddish gray; polished light brown surface varying to gray. High concave neck; globular body with shallow vertical grooves; flat bottom; twisted handle with double base. A line of tocchi di punta surrounds the base of the handle. Upper part of handle restored. Cf. Not. Sc., 1902, p. 497, fig. la, no. 40; Not. Sc., 1906, p. 66, fig. ge; no. 40-5562 in the Peabody Museum, Cambridge, Mass.

Narrow mouth with curved spout; high conical neck; squat ovoid body on low solid foot; high round handle, flattening out at lip and shoulder.
