Slate grey brocaded w. dk. grey, gold metallic and gold. Pattern of horizontal rows of dragons of crane medallions alternate with floral motif. Ends and 4 bands across are water stained. Good condition otherwise. 27⅜ inches wide by 85½ inches long.

Three large identical circular medallions, incised, on center of body: seal character (probably shou "longevity") surrounded by archaic cloud key-fret and dragon motif pattern. Slip trailed or incised band on shoulder of key-fret cloud pattern and archaic dragons. Wide band at base with 'mountain and cloud' pattern. Interior and recessed base glazed white. Stamped relief seal mark of Ch'ien Lung reign (1736-1795). Height 35.5 cm., maximum diameter 20.5 cm.
