Hearst Museum object titled Flask, accession number 1-27169, described as Covered with twined basketry.  Triangles in brown and maidenhair fern.  Tag "Brandy flask Klamath Co [?] CA".  Second tag: "86".  Third tag "Klamath R. Tribes att.". Per Ralph Shanks:  Twined basketry covered glass liquor bottle.  There is no stopper.  Oval starting knot.  The warp material is probably willow.  The weft material is conifer root.  There is a cordage string loop at the neck.  The weft design overlay is red-dyed woodwardia and maidenhair fern with a beargrass background.  Starting after the starting knot, there is .5 inch plain twining followed by one weft row of three strand twining.  That is followed by plain twining all of the way up to the neck.  The design is five vertical stacks of double triangles.  The rim is trimmed.   The basket has a rightward work direction, with an up to the right slant of weft twist.  The workface is on the exterior.  The basket is from Northwestern California.
