Hearst Museum object titled Tzute, accession number 3-32163, described as Tzute, San Antonio Aguas Calientes Cotton tzute of predominately burgundy warp and ground cloth. Two pieced tzute has multicolored warp stripes at each selvage and is joined with a very thin burgundy randa. Entire piece, excluding selvage stripes, is marcador double sided supplementary weft. Designs include Quetzales, birds, other animals and multiple types of flowers and fruit. Designs are mainly in oranges, blues and greens.

Central randa is embroidered in sections of tan, black and red and warp faced stripes in brown, black, red, white with fine orange warp stripes. Some of the thin black stripes have white ikat. Three selvages are finished and the fourth is rolled and hand sewn.
