Hearst Museum object titled Huipil, accession number 3-32170, described as Huipil Cotton back-strap loomed, two piece huipil, shows lots of color bleeding in the supplementary weft. White base cloth with heavy single sided supplementary weft with diamonds covering the majority of the huipil. Shoulder brocading includes diamonds and triangles. The square cut out neck embroidered with heavy purple cotton thread. The central seam appears to have either been sewn together or repaired with machine stitching (no randa).
