The ground cloth is predominantly dark blue with fine green warp stripes The three pieces are sewn together with lavender embroidery floss. The majority of the huipil decorated with heavy multicolored single sided supplementary weft geometric designs typical of Santa Catarina. One end selvage is finished the other is cut fringe. The arm holes and the square cut out neck are heavily embroidered with triangles of red cotton floss.

One end of huipil rolled and hand sewn, other cut with loose threads. Arm holes outlined with scalloped crochet done in turquoise embroidery floss.

White base cloth with heavy single sided supplementary weft with diamonds covering the majority of the huipil. Shoulder brocading includes diamonds and triangles. The square cut out neck embroidered with heavy purple cotton thread. The central seam appears to have either been sewn together or repaired with machine stitching (no randa).

Two side panels are white with blue warp and weft stripes creating rectangles. Central panel blue warp and ground cloth with green, red warp stripes and two bands of multicolored stripes in supplementary weft. Square cut out neckline is rolled and entirely covered in thick embroidery floss in multiple colored sections. Warp threads cut and left loose. Machine sewn seams.

Pieces joined by fine white cotton faggoting stitch randa. Square neckline is cut out rolled and interfaced with commercial cloth, machine sewn.

The neckline is diamond shaped with the cut section machine sewn inside as interfacing. Neckline and shoulders are finished with heavy fuscia chain stitched embroidery. The majority of the huipil of single sided horizontal stripes of supplementary weft, the designs are birds and other animals, plants and geometric shapes. There is a prominent band of vertical zigzags woven across the chest. There are vertical tucks the entire length of the huipil. The two pieces are joined with machine stitching, there is no randa. Many loose threads, especially around the bottom of the huipil, especially around the neckline and armholes. Both ends irregularly cut and left fringed.

Neckline with commercial interfacing sewn by machine. Vertical tucks taken on both pieces to make the piece smaller.

The majority of the huipil consists of dark read and white stripes, although there are also some fine orange warp stripes, the central panel and the shoulders have lines of single sided supplementary weft, linear designs and multicolored butterflies (not sure if they are brocade or embroidery).
