Hearst Museum object titled Coat, accession number 9-23415, described as Coat. Embroidery done in brown yellow, white, maroon, and blue grid and weave and cross stitch on the ends of sleeves, rectangle on back and back bottom flap. 6 pink silk tassels on back of neck hanging from strings of black and white beads. Appliqué stripes some 1mm wide. Embroidery on front is maroon, white and blue. Collar embroidery edged with blue and clear beads and tufts of pink.

Black hemp cloth with white, light and dark brown, green, purple and yellow grid and weave embroidery in bands of repeating patterns. Overall pattern is truncated squares/triangles. Straps finish with brown tassels hanging from beads.

Red fabric on one side. 90 degree angled bands of cross stitch on the other side. Patterns both geometric and curvilinear. Six pink tassels hanging from white and black beads. Straps are red fabric with pink yarn tassels hanging from red, white, yellow and black beads.

Final 13" is cross stitched and embroidered in repeating patterns that fill squares and rectangles. Thread is white, brown, dark blue and pink. 27 pink silk tassels hanging from black and white bead trios.

Edged with lines of embroidery. Each side has six pink tassels hung from blue, black and white beads.
