Hearst Museum object titled Pitcher, accession number 3-30704a,b, described as PITCHER W/LID: Ceramic, 2-handled pitcher (a), with domed lid (b).  Pitcher has a long neck, round belly, w/ 2 strap handles.  Spout is on one side mid-point between handles.  Neck is decorated with fruit (blue & brown) and leaves (green & brown).  A blue band finished the lip and a brown raised band separates neck from belly.   The belly is decorated with a woman in colonial dress handing a bottle to a man dressed like a workman who is wearing brown pants, a brown serape over one shoulder, and a brown hat.  To either side of the figures are trees, and the back of the vessel is decorated with various trees and plants.  The domed lid is decorated with a repeating pattern of leaves, and berries in green, blue and brown and a blue band finished the edge of he lip.  A round knob is at the top of the lid.
