: Hearst Museum object titled Bed covering, museum number 9-21641, described as Bed covering; two panels joined at center: brocade weave, repeated pattern of male [boys] figures holding flutes & toys, in rows. Flowers, and butterflies surround them. Figures are in shades of brown, gray and gold, on a tan ground. Lips are red. Each end has multiple, patterned rows (1st: Greek key, blue diamond & gray swastikas, separated by gold floral bands. 2nd: gold key on light purple ground, blue floral and gray swasticks on gold ground; bordered & separated by blue or gold floral bands.

: Hearst Museum object titled Blanket, museum number 2-72067, described as RGM hand woven wool blanket made by RGM's great grandmother Curtis, who lived on a farm in Maine; RGM note affixed to the blanket says that the blanket is hand woven by her great grandmother, and that the wool was spun on old spinning wheel; the spinning wheel (very large in size) was given by Marilyn Mossman Webster (now deceased) to the Los Altos History House Museum during the 1990s; blanket is off-white with dark blue band across both ends; worn, patched, spotted, very old and used.

: Hearst Museum object titled Hanging, museum number 9-21638, described as Wall hanging; tapestry (Kossu) weaving; flowering plum branches in a tripod container sitting on a vase stand and a goblet; a low vasecontains fleshy blossoms; a spray of flowers and leaves w/ a key are at the bottom. Patterns are woven in gray, pink, and black on a golden/green ground w/ golden thread on the foot of the goblet. Entire hanging is bound with a narrow blue/black edging.

: Hearst Museum object titled Hanging, museum number 9-21655, described as Wall hanging; made from court robe of the Imperial Era. Two unrelated fragments combined to make the hanging. Upper fragment separated from lower panel by a black border & edged w/ blue bias cotton. Consists of kossu woven and painted symbols plus 1/2 of 2 birds. Lower fragment contains a 5-clawed dragon motif embroidered with gold-wrapped thread, and holds a pearl of peace in claws; surrounded by sky containing Budhist symbols, bats, floral motifs and green flames w/ painted hilights on dragon and Buddhist symbols. Multicolored water and waves below. Entire panel is framed w/ black border edged w/ blue bias edging. Lined with faded red cotton fabric.
