: Hearst Museum object titled Pot, accession number 2-71574, described as Coiled ceramic, smoothed with flared/fluted lip and 2 "basket tray" applique decorations. Vase is painted (acrylic?) cream outside, blue/gray in with brown lip edge. Decoration: 2 black crosses with brown outline on opposite sides of pot, alternating with 2 applique medallions with brown/black "wedding basket" design. Bottom incised "LS".

Exterior top border is "Monument Valley" scene painted in black and brown with outline incising through to white slip. Lower border of black/white painted step and feather pattern. Bottom incised "Mike Navajo".
