: Hearst Museum object titled Plate, accession number 3-29549, described as Plate: majolica ("talavera ware"); varicolored floral design with large yellow petals and cobalt area from rim flowing in arrow-point designs into the floral designs; intricate areas of designs within the large petals in yellow and cobalt, largely in dots and in star-like designs; large areas of black-outlined green within cobalt area; signed on back with symbol. Materials: opaque white lead-tin glazed earthenware; especially thick cobalt pigment.
