Hearst Museum object titled Robe, accession number 9-17964, described as Robe w/ typical symbols, 5-toed dragon, water, mountains, clouds, bats, etc., blue & black w/ multicolor embroidery; 2/2 twill, silk embroidery & gold wrapped thread.  Neck binding embroidered black gauze & black satin binding are replacements; robe made from "off the shelf" material.  Horse hoof cuffs are a later date - do not match robe & commercially dyed.  soiled; bug damage, cases of clothes moth embedded in embroidery; gauze at neck damaged, other embroidery split or couching loose.
